Salvador Hinojosa is a researcher with a specialization in applying stochastic search algorithms to fields like computer vision, software engineering, and logistics. He earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid, focusing on metaheuristic algorithms for image segmentation. His academic journey also includes a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Science, both from the University of Guadalajara. Presently, he serves as a full-time researcher in the Computer Science Department at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara. He holds a level one distinction in the National System of Researchers (SNI) and is an active member of the Mexican Society of Computer Science (AMEXCOMP).
